Connections Community® LIVE – October 24th, Birmingham

The way YOU connect is the key to more sales.

Because being YOU is your superpower.

Connections Community® LIVE is an in-person business event where you'll learn how YOU naturally create genuine connection — and start turning that into your own warm connections strategy for creating more clients, referrals, collaborations, introductions and opportunities.

Without turning every flipping person you meet into a prospect.

You'll learn from
Connections Community® LIVE – The Problem

If you actually LIKE networking events.

And you like people, and you're curious about what they do — you love hearing about their businesses, and you'll happily start a conversation with someone you've never met before.

🙌 So you book the ticket, get all dressed up and travel there 🙌

Walk into a room absolutely FULL of people you'd love to meet....

....and then you're expected to sit quietly for most of the day while people talk at you.

There's a coffee break, obviously 🙄

Twenty minutes to have a wee, grab a drink, find the person you were halfway through a conversation with earlier AND somehow meaningfully connect with everyone else in the room.

Then it's back to your seat because the next speaker's starting 🤦‍♀️

You're thinking

"I HAVE PAID MONEY TO BE IN A ROOM CONTAINING ALL THESE BRILLIANT PEOPLE."

"WHEN EXACTLY AM I ALLOWED TO FLIPPING TALK TO THEM?!"

But — maybe that's not you at all.

Maybe the thought of walking into a room where you don't know anyone makes your stomach drop.

You're already worrying someone's going to make you stand up and deliver a one-minute introduction while your heart tries to escape through your ribcage.

You don't think you're "good at networking".

But put you into an actual conversation with someone?

That's different.

You listen and you ask questions. You remember the little things and you find the common ground — you connect.

Or maybe you've done LOADS of networking.

You've had lovely conversations, swapped details, followed each other on Instagram, and absolutely promised to stay in touch.

And six months later you're wondering....

Did any of that actually DO anything?

Because meeting people isn't a strategy.

You can come home from a networking event with 47 new Instagram followers and a handbag full of business cards.... and still have absolutely no idea what to DO with any of them.

  • 🤔 Who did you genuinely connect with?
  • 🤔 Who would you like to get to know better?
  • 🤔 Why?
  • 🤔 And what could that relationship become?
  • 🤔 Maybe she's someone you'd love to work with.
  • 🤔 Maybe there's a collaboration you could explore.
  • 🤔 Maybe she's perfectly placed to introduce you to someone else.
  • 🤔 Maybe she's a potential client.
  • 🤔 Maybe she's your new biz bestie.
  • 🤔 Or maybe she's firmly in the: FRIEND-ZONE: DO NOT EVER PROSPECT UNINVITED.

Because every lead IS a connection.
But NOT every connection is a lead.

Some people get to just be people.

So what actually happens at Connections LIVE?

First things first: You're not spending six hours sitting on your arse listening to speakers.

This is a working day, and you'll spend most of it in small groups of around 4–5 women, moving between practical workshops designed to help you work ON your business while you get to know the other women in the room.

So you're not standing around clutching a coffee wondering how on earth to start a conversation — because I know how awkward that is.

And you're not staring longingly across the room at someone thinking "She looks brilliant. I wish I'd had a chance to talk to her." You will.

The day is deliberately designed to give you the opportunity to interact with everyone.

Together, we'll work on things like:

Your ONE Thing

Getting clear on the thing you want people to know about you and your business right now.

Your socials and bios

Because if someone meets you today and looks you up tomorrow, let's make sure what they find helps them understand who you are and what you do.

Your funnels and Linktrees

Looking at where you're sending people next – and whether it's helping them get closer to you and your business.

Your elevator pitch

Not just the dreaded "You've got 60 seconds, GO!" version. We'll look at how you talk about what you do online, in person and when someone asks you out in the wild.

Your own Connections Strategy

Taking everything you've noticed throughout the day and starting to turn it into a way of creating and nurturing relationships that works for YOU.

And while all of that is happening? You ARE connecting.

Not because I've shouted "NETWORK!" and left you to awkwardly circulate, but because you're doing things together!

  • 💜 Talking about your businesses.
  • 💜 Sharing ideas.
  • 💜 Asking questions.
  • 💜 Noticing who you click with.
  • 💜 And starting to understand why.

Because I spent 14 years thinking THIS was just what you had to do to make sales.

Stomach churning, sweaty palms, sometimes ACTUALLY hyperventilating.

Being told to write ANOTHER list of 100 names and start contacting people.

Friends, family, old colleagues. People I hadn't spoken to in YEARS.

I swear at one point we were getting dangerously close to my mother's hairdresser's waxer.

And I HATED it.

Not because I didn't want sales — that's bonkers. Not because I didn't want to make bloody good money — we all want more money, right?

I did want ALL of that.

I just hated who I felt like I had to become to get it.

And for years, I thought that was the ONLY choice.

Do the stuff that made me feel like I was selling my soul and trashing my nervous system.... or accept that maybe I just wasn't cut out for business.

Then I started getting curious.

I stopped making every interaction about my agenda and started paying much more attention to the person in front of me.

Now, when someone enquires about working with me, I don't immediately word-vomit everything about the offer into their Messenger and hope something sticks.

I ask questions. Lots of questions.

"What made you message me?" "What have you tried before?" "What do you really need right now?"

And I keep asking until I can say EXACTLY why I believe that offer is right for them.

Sometimes I realise it isn't for them, and that is perfectly allowed too.

And if I ever reach out to someone because I think something I've created could help them, I have one rule: Can I say exactly why this benefits THEM, not me?

If I can't I don't send the message.

Nearly seven years into my coaching business, I haven't sent a single cold message.

I have, however, built relationships with people who trust me so deeply that I can vaguely hint that I'm creating something new and they'll say: "I'M IN." Before they even know what the flipping thing is.

Because that trust didn't suddenly appear when I made the offer. The connection came first.

And THAT is what I've spent the last seven years paying attention to. How we create connection AND how we deepen it. How it contributes to sales without every person we meet becoming someone we're trying to sell to.

And how completely different that can look depending on who YOU are.

Because I don't want to teach you to connect like me. I want to help you understand the principles underneath it so thoroughly that you can recognise the way you already connect — and start using it intentionally.

You don't need my personality. You don't need somebody else's sales script. And you definitely don't need your mother's hairdresser's waxer's phone number.

You need a sales strategy that has room for YOU in it.

YES PLEASE – SAVE MY PLACE FOR CONNECTIONS LIVE

Still got a "YES, BUT...." rattling around in your head?

I'm coming on my own and I won't know ANYONE.

Honestly — you won't be the only one.

And I've deliberately designed the day so you're not walking into a room full of strangers and being left to fend for yourself. You'll have the WhatsApp group beforehand, and on the day you'll work in small groups of around 4–5, moving between groups throughout the workshops.

You don't need to work the room. You don't need to find a group to insert yourself into. And you don't need to stand in the corner pretending to answer an extremely important email until somebody talks to you.

I'll create the opportunities to connect — you just need to turn up.

But I'm shit at networking.

Okay, but.... What does being "good at networking" even mean?

Being the loudest person in the room? Being able to stride up to a stranger and launch into your elevator pitch without breaking a sweat? Coming home with 47 business cards?

Because some of the most outwardly confident people can work a room all day and still leave thinking "Well.... that was BS."

I'm much more interested in whether you can connect.

Can you have a conversation? Can you be curious about another person? Can you listen? Can you answer questions about yourself and your business? Can you notice when you click with somebody?

THAT we can work with.

I've networked LOADS. I've met lovely people. Nothing really came from it.

Then this might be the most important part of Connections LIVE for you.

Because meeting people is only the beginning. Your workbook, Connections Tracker and the methodology I'll teach you are there to help you notice who you connected with, why that connection matters to you, where that relationship could naturally go and what – if anything – you want to do next.

We're not leaving the important bit to chance this time.

Will I genuinely get to talk to everyone?

The workshops are structured around small, changing groups of approximately 4–5 people, giving you the opportunity to interact with everyone during the day.

I'm not going to promise you'll know somebody's deepest darkest secrets by 4pm. But you're not going to spend the whole day sitting beside the same three people either.

The PEOPLE are part of the point.

I'm awkward about food. Can you cater for me?

Oh my love. YES.

I have ARFID. I am quite possibly one of the pickiest eaters you will ever meet, and I know exactly what it's like to turn up to an event and discover you're essentially having a packet of crisps for lunch.

I do not want that for you.

Before the event, I'll send you a Google Form asking about your food requirements. Tell me what I need to know. Allergies. Intolerances. Dietary requirements. Foods you can't eat. Things that make food difficult for you.

You're not being demanding. You're not being "too much". I want to cater for you.

But is spending a Saturday talking to people REALLY going to help me make more sales?

I'm not going to promise that you'll walk into Connections LIVE at 9.30am and walk out at 4pm with five new clients. That's not how relationships work. And it's definitely not how I teach sales.

What I AM going to do is help you stop leaving connection entirely to chance.

You'll learn more about how YOU naturally connect. You'll practise it with actual people. You'll start noticing which relationships you want to nurture and why. And you'll leave with a methodology and tools you can keep using long after we've finished the prosecco.

Because the point isn't to make every connection commercially useful. It's to understand how genuine connection can become an intentional part of the way YOU grow your business and make more sales.

You don't need to become somebody else to make more sales.

I think we've been taught for far too long that if business feels uncomfortable, WE must be the problem.

Not confident enough. Not consistent enough. Not willing enough to put ourselves out there. Not following up enough. Not pitching enough.

And maybe you HAVE tried. Maybe you've made yourself send the messages. Practised the pitch. Gone to the networking events. Followed the formulas.

And somewhere along the way started wondering: "Is this really what running a business is supposed to feel like?"

I don't think it has to.

I want you to make sales. I want you to find clients. I want collaborations, referrals, introductions and brilliant opportunities to come from the relationships you build. I want your business to make you bloody good money.

I just don't think you need to override who you are to make any of that happen.

That's why I created Connections LIVE. Not to teach you the Correct Way To Network. Not to hand you my personality and tell you to copy it. And not to give you another strategy that only works if you can force yourself to become the kind of person who enjoys doing things you hate.

I want to help you understand the principles underneath genuine human connection. Then give you a room full of women where you can experience them. Try things. Notice things. Have conversations. Get curious. And start working out what all of that looks like when YOU do it.

Because maybe the parts of yourself you've been trying to work around in business.... are the exact parts we should have been building your strategy around all along.

The way YOU connect is the key to more sales.
Because being YOU is your superpower.

And on Saturday 24th October, I'd absolutely love to help you prove it to yourself.
